Pacific American Academy Charter School

Pacific American Academy Charter SchoolThe Pacific American Education and Scholastic Foundation (PAESF) is a nonprofit that brings awareness and understanding of the shared core values that bridge the disparity between the values of society and cultural roots through celebrating Pacific Islander values, multiculturalism, healthy families, and education. “Take up the conch and canoe to live life and to navigate our future.” PAESF encompasses many programs, including the Pacific American Academy Charter School.

The Pacific American Academy Charter School is a FREE Public Charter School serving grades from K – 6. The mission of the Pacific American Academy Charter School is to maintain a quality education program, which encompasses the pride in, and understanding of, diverse cultures.

The Pacific American Community Cultural Center, with the help of PA’A San Diego Founder and Executive Director, Margaret Sanborn, is seeking to build a sister charter school and become the second school on the mainland to promote Pacific Island culture based education, as well as conventional learning methods.
