From Sponsor Outreach to Event Day: Producing Nā Wehi with Primo Beer
From identifying and securing Primo Beer as the title sponsor to managing logistics, branded materials, and event-day execution.
Nā Wehi “the adornments” was a Pacific Islander fashion show and fundraiser held at Hula Halāu ‘O Lilinoe in Carson, CA, benefiting the Sandwich Islands Network, a 24/7 internet radio station dedicated to island music and entertainment. The event brought together six Pacific Islander designers, four live musical acts, boutique vendors, and community members from across Southern California.
Connecting Primo Beer — Hawai‘i’s Original Beer — as the title sponsor was just the start. I was proud and thankful to lead outreach, negotiation to secure the partnership, and everything required to bring that sponsorship to life on the ground: coordinating product delivery, producing branded print materials including banners and posters, and ensuring the Primo presence was visible and cohesive throughout the venue.
The result was a genuine celebration of Pacific Islander fashion, music, and culture, backed by a brand the community celebrated for its inclusion.
